Invitation to Leading Thinkers in Egypt

We addressed the following questions to leading thinkers in Egypt:

1. Do you accept the term “New Egyptian Democracy ” as characterization of the recent constitutional amendments and its practice?

2. Two years after the amendments, how would you assess Egypt progress? What would you like to see happen next?

3. On the specific issue of the spread of democracy do you agree or disagree with what was called that “democratization represents the best and perhaps even the only way to defeat Muslim Brothers Term " Islam is the solution" it uses as its main weapon against ruling party”?

4. Turning to the political climate at Egypt, do you think the ruling Party has a chance of surviving the elections of at most 2011, and if so in what form?
